What is the Problem?
An individual lack of hope, vision and purpose. Increased stress, financial debt, marital commitment, substance abuse and an ever growing distrust in the local church and belief in God.

Infidelity in the Workplace:
According to all the latest statistics, the workplace has become the #1 place for married people who engage in infidelity to meet the other person.
The unavoidable closeness, commonalities in life and time together lead to inappropriate friendship. They end up spending a great deal of time, on occasion more time than they spend at home, with this new “friend” so the friendship can become very deep. These friendships can quickly lead to strong emotional attachments. Strong emotional attachments with the opposite sex can often lead to romance. The most noticeable theme is that they work together, grow to understand one another and “relate” better to this co-worker than they do to their spouse. At home they hear about bills, problems, chores, etc. The co-worker friend offers someone who relates to talk with, someone who empathizes with them and does not bring any of the stress that home often has, making them all the more attractive.

1 in 10 workers (11 percent) felt that they had a work spouse. (Survey Careerbuilder.com)53% of women and 42% of men said they had a work or office spouse. (Study by Ranstad USA)
The workplace has become the new breeding ground for inappropriate romantic relationships undermining the institution of marriage and family. This is a problem among non-believers and Christians as well.
Substance Abuse in the Workplace:
Alcohol and drug abuse by employees in the workplace not only causes harm to the individual but to others as well. The cost to industry is also catastrophic ranging from lost productivity, injuries, and an increase in health insurance claims and premiums.
The loss to companies in the United States due to alcohol and drug-related abuse by employees totals $100 billion a year, according to the The National Clearinghouse for Alcohol and Drug Information (NCADI). Even with these alarming statistics the church has very little presence in the marketplace.
Statistics from recent survey by the NCADI. Alcohol and drug users in the workplace:
-
Are far less productive.
-
Use three times as many sick days.
-
Are more likely to injure themselves or someone else.
-
Are five times more likely to file worker's compensation claims.

6% had gone to work high or drunk in the past year.
